I am one of thirteen children. Happily married to a wonderful man for 37 years. Love being a grandmother (5 grandchildren) and totally enjoy caregiving to my grandchildren on a daily basis. My true passion is when I have an opportunity to lose myself in a world of words.
I am embarking on a new journey, one which involve using technology to share my thoughts with all my treasured friends. I invite you to join me as I travel through this journey and feel free to add your own valued comments.
Thanks to my daughter-in-law I'm up...., but,I don't know about the running part. This whole blog process may take a while to figure out. I'm not a high school graduate and having my young grandchildren breeze through this like it's child play does nothing to boost my confidence in myself. Then again, I aim to learn. I love to write and I wish to share my thoughts....silly, serious and all.
Congratulations, Josephine! Hope you enjoy blogging as much as I do, but please don't forget the smrt gals as you move along on your journey. Love your words! Tamar
Congrats Mom. The girls would say this is pretty cool! You never fail to amaze and inspire. I joke about all the "complaints" I inherited but if memory serves, the pen used to be a good friend of mine too...now I know where that came from...so thanks!! Remember the Arts and Letters Competition ( I still have the adjudicators' remarks) and the essays and speeches (still have some of those too as well as that Coke phone I received!)
I feel like I have been on a journey this last while and I never was a very good traveller so I can't say I am surprised about some of the bumps I have encountered along the way (still feeling guilty about cutting our family trip across the island short all those years ago!!LOL). However, like all journeys, sometimes it is where you least expect to find points of interest that make the trip worthwhile. And as always you lead the way, break the path and take the hardest knocks to make our journey a little easier. Thanks Mom! Good luck with your blog and your continuing journey...just remember to stay out of the bog holes and avoid the snow drifts and swing sets!!!
Thanks for taking the time to share your trip down memory lane with me. I loved it. If you remember, I also would say, "if it weren't for the unexpected events, the trip wouldn't be so memorable," right? Yes I do recall you having a flair with words. I would love to see you using that gift a little more. It can be a delightful passtime, occupation or just a diversion. Either way dabbling in the word world has become a soothing and exhilerating therapy for me over the past few years. It has been my deflector when I've been thrown a few curve balls. Maybe a blog for you could be a place to put it all out there. Stir up your creative juices again. Go for it!!!
